Sarah Jo Kirsch is a soprano currently based in Winnipeg. She continues to make waves as a recitalist and soloist in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Winner of the 2014 Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition, she has been hailed as “…one of the finest contemporary dramatic vocalists in Canada today…” Calgary Herald, “…with the ability to get under the skin of everything she sings…” Winnipeg Free Press. From Baroque oratorio to electroacoustic sound art, Sarah Jo surfs the gamut of musical evolution and aspires to be a worthy muse and an evocative interpreter. In the 2015-16 season, she’ll be appearing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Canzona, the Winnipeg Chamber Music Society, Polycoro, Calgary’s Land’s End Ensemble, at the American University of Beirut, and as part of the WSO New Music Festival and the Cluster New Music + Integrated Arts Festival. She is an alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder College of Music (BMus) and the University of Manitoba Desautels Faculty of Music (MMus), and hosts the weekday drive-home on Winnipeg’s classical music station, Classic 107.

Madeline Hildebrand

Acclaimed Canadian pianist Jon Kimura Parker describes Madeline as “an extraordinary young artist whose communicative skills convey the essence of all that she plays. Her pianism is of the highest level, and she has an instinctive understanding of beautiful sound.” Maddy graduated from the University of British Columbia where she studied under distinguished pianist Jane Coop. Her playing has taken her coast coast in Canada and America, Italy, and Romania. Her recent engagements have included a concerto performance with the Thunder Bay Orchestra, a house concert tour throughout the prairies with flutist Haley Marie, a cross Canada tour with soprano Sarah Kirsch, and chamber music concerts with Winnipeg’s foremost classical musicians. Upcoming 2016 engagements include concerts with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Winnipeg’s Virtuosi concert series. Maddy is on faculty at the Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg.
