Featuring: Mélisande Corriveau, Felix Deak, Pippa MacMillan and Jonathon Adams

Mélisande Corriveau, Felix Deak and Pippa MacMillan have joined Susie Napper to form Les Voix Humaines Consort of Viols to take a refreshing look at the exquisite repertoire for viols. Our unique, controversial ideas offer a new profile to consort playing in which rhythmic freedom and ornamentation play an integral role. Les Voix Humaines will be performing with Baritone Jonathon Adams in a programme called “The Rossignol Sauvage”, a voice of the Métis people.

Born in amiskwaciwaskahikan (Edmonton, Alberta) Jonathon Adams is Cree- Métis Baritone.

They have attended The Royal Academy of Music (London), the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and The Victoria Conservatory of Music where they studied with Nancy Argenta. Jonathon is a featured soloist in the film MESSIAH / COMPLEX produced by Against the Grain Theatre and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
